We are excited to announce that Sierra College Natural History Museum will be presenting its annual Dinosaur Day and Science Fest this May 7, 2023.
This is a fun festival for all ages, focusing on S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics), education, and so much more.
The theme for 2023 is “Marine Reptiles and Creatures of the Sea”.
Think: plesiosaurs, mosasaurs, basilosaurs, icthyosaurs, ammonites, prehistoric marine arthropods like trilobites and giant sea scorpions...maybe even a megalodon or helicoprion shark or two...
We will still have lots of dinosaurs though—it is called Dinosaur Day after all!
There will be exhibitors offering hands-on activities, demonstrations, dissections, live animals, and educational games! Food trucks will be on site for delicious festival faire and the Museum's DinoStore will be open for souvenirs! Join DJ Tuese for kids karaoke, family friendly music, and science trivia!
